Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”), which together with our Privacy Policy, govern The Floral Society’s relationship with you in relation to your use of this website.

QUALITY + FLOWER CARE

At the Floral Society, we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services. It’s important to remember that flowers are a perishable product that will react to immediate indoor environment and external weather conditions. We ensure that only the freshest and highest quality flowers are used each day. Unfortunately, once we dispatch our flowers, external factors beyond our control may result in their longevity being reduced.

AFTERCARE

To assist in prolonging their life, we recommend cutting stems on a sharp angle and changing the vase water every two days. Air conditioning, extreme heat or sudden changes in climate may also have an adverse effect on your flowers. Unfortunately, with various external factors outside of our control, it’s difficult for The Floral Society to guarantee flower quality in every case.

Aftercare Tips:

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Please contact us immediately via email if you have any problems with your order. On average, flowers should last anywhere from 3-7 days. Remember flowers are a perishable product and different flowers varieties have different life spans, and can be more delicate compared to other flower species.

Once the flowers have been received, aftercare is an important factor when increasing the longevity of your flowers. Should your flowers perish within 24 hours of their delivery date, and we are satisfied that all care instructions provided have been followed, The Floral Society will be happy to resend a new bunch of flowers. However, The Floral Society reserves the right to request photographs of the original bunch of flowers to verify prior to a replacement bunch can being issued. These photos must be clear so our florists can review and determine the condition of the flowers.

External controls such as weather, and where you place your bunch in your home, can impact the life span of the flowers. When preparing every bunch, we undertake a quality control check prior to the flowers leaving the studio to ensure the highest quality.

The Floral Society requires that any dissatisfaction of your flowers be communicated to our team within 24 hours of the delivery date. If you cannot show proof of photographs within 24 hours of the original delivery date. The Floral Society reserves the right to not issue a refund or replacement bunch.

If the recipient receives damaged or sub-standard flowers, please contact us immediately so we can arrange a replacement bunch for re-delivery on the next available day.

Our florists will review the photos and at our discretion, consider issues raised after the 24 hours deadline but reserve the right to refuse the options of refunding or resending another bunch.

If a refund or redelivery has been approved, this will be done at our earliest convenience. Usually within 24-48 hours or our next available delivery date.

Refunds are processed via their original payment method and can take up to 5-10 business days to appear in your account.

If you lodged your payment through Afterpay, the refund will be sent directly to them. Afterpay will then work out the number of payments you have made and will issue a refund based off that amount.

FAILED DELIVERIES THAT REQUIRE REPLACEMENT BUNCHES

It’s important you provide us with the correct details upon ordering. If you provide us with incorrect details, we will attempt your delivery as per your instructions, but will take no responsibility for a failed delivery.

If we are unable to deliver to the address provided, we can re-deliver on the same day (depending on the time of the re-delivery notice), or our next available delivery date. However, this incurs a re-delivery fee of $17.00 if we resend the same bouquet.

Please remember that our flowers are perishable products. Our store will attempt to contact the sender to arrange a re-delivery. Please contact us ASAP and within 48 hours by phone or email to organise a re-delivery to resend the same bouquet. Please review our delivery information page for more information.

In some cases, were the recipient has been contacted upon arrival by the courier (i.e Government buildings or secured unit complexes), and it resulted in a failed delivery, the bunch cannot be redelivered unless the sender has made contact with The Floral Society, and has made payment for redelivery. If required, the sender will also need to provide an updated delivery location.

Our florists have designed this bouquet especially for your order and have delivered as per your information.

The Floral Society will do our best to follow up and contact the sender to organise a redelivery, however, it is important to make sure all your contact information is current and correct.

If you contact us within 3 days of the original delivery date and you wish to send the original bouquet, there will also be a redelivery fee of $17.00 to resend the original bouquet.

If you contact The Floral Society 5 days after the original delivery date, there will be an amending fee to re-send the same bouquet. The prices are outlined below:

Please note if you wish to have the bunch re-delivered this will incur a $17.00 delivery fee on top of the above amount. The Floral Society takes pride, time and resources when preparing these bouquets, especially for your order.

When agreeing to the terms and conditions at the checkout, you are agreeing that should you not make any contact within 10 days after the first delivery date, you agree to forfeit your flowers and will be required to place a new order online. No refunds or replacement bunches will be issued in these circumstances.

In rare cases where our courier has not delivered to the correct address the above fees will not apply.

HOURS OF OPERATION

The Floral Society operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 am-4.00 pm.

We are open on Saturdays and Sundays for events or workshops only – this must be pre-booked. We are also closed on Public Holidays.

WINE

Anyone using the site must be 18 years and over when purchasing wine. The wine must be purchased in conjunction with a bunch of flowers and cannot be sold separately. When sending the flowers and wine, the recipient must be over the age of 18. By ticking the terms and conditions box, upon checkout you are confirming that both the sender and the person receiving the wine are over the age of 18 years.

By ticking the terms and conditions box at check-out, you agree to all terms and declare you are 18-years or above when ordering wine.

EXTRAS

If you have ordered anything from our extras section without a bunch of flowers we do offer same day delivery with the cut off times above 1.30pm, school time cut off is 10am (unless sold out prior).

In rare instances where you have just ordered from our extras range and we are at capacity with deliveries, dispatch of your order may be the next business day. A member of the Floral Society team will contact you if this is to occur.

FLORAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

Subscription deliveries are sent on the day nominated by the customer upon check out – this day then becomes the day that the subscriber will receive their blooms from that point onwards.

If your orders fall on a public holiday, weekend or our shut down period it will be sent out the next business day.

Subscriptions consist of seasonal florists choice with fresh cut flowers. The Floral Society has the discretion to select the variety and colour of flowers used based on seasonality and availability.

To cancel your subscription, you must notify The Floral Society in writing at least 24 hours prior to your schedule date in writing to hello@thefloralsociety.com.au.

SIZE GUIDE INFORMATION:

Flowers come in different shapes, sizes, and colours. The Floral Society builds their bunch sizes based off the vases available in store. The photo images on this page is a visual guide only, and this means you may not receive the exact same image as per the photos. Your bunch will be based on seasonal flowers that are available on our flower bar on that particular day of your order.

The size guide is not applicable to the dried/everlasting range.

EVERLASTING/DRIED RANGE:

The products in this section are built up with preserved and dried flowers. The term ”everlasting” is for page on our website. The flowers under this section will have a longer life spam than a natural flower product.

These arrangements will be handled with care when leaving our studio on deliveries. Once these arrangements leave the studio, The Floral Society takes no responsibility for external control or damaging after this point. No refunds will be issued.

PRICES

All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include taxes. The total cost of your order will be shown upon checkout, prior to payment.

A tax invoice is issued as a PDF with online orders placed.

PROMOTIONS AND OTHER OFFERS:

Please note if the Floral Society engages another third party for a collaboration, The Floral Society does not hold any liability for any issues, and you would need to contact the third party directly.

ORDER STATUS

To check on the status of your order please email us at hello@thefloralsociety.com.au. Please include your name, order number and confirm who the flowers are being sent too. If you have ordered online, please confirm your online order number.

We ask for your patience as we are making beautiful blooms, we will respond as soon as possible.

DISCLAIMERS

Your use of the Site is at your sole risk. The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the site or any feature or part of it at any time. The Floral Society does not guarantee that prices or promotions displayed on the site are valid at time of ordering. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Floral Society expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose and any warranties that access to the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the site will be secure, or that information on the site will be complete, accurate or timely.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you understand and agree that neither The Floral Society nor any of its third-party content providers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or any other damages relating to or resulting from your use of or inability to use the Site or from any actions we take or fail to take as a result of electronic mail messages you send us. These include, but are not limited to, damages for errors, omissions, interruptions, defects, delays, computer viruses, your loss of profits, loss of data, unauthorised access to and alteration of your transmissions and data, and other tangible and intangible losses. This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages are claimed under the terms of a contract, as the result of negligence, or otherwise, and even if we or our representatives have been negligent or have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

USE OF MATERIAL FROM THE SITE

The Site (including all its content) is the property of The Floral Society and is protected by copyright and other laws of Australia and other countries. You agree that you will not use any material from the Site for your personal, or any related parties’ benefit or advantage.

CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE:

If you place an order over the phone, or via card in store there will be a surcharge of 1.65% per transaction.

PRIVACY

The Floral Society will not sell or share your personal information and no credit card details are stored by us.
