We collect Personal Information where reasonably necessary to operate our business, including to process and fulfil orders, arrange deliveries, administer customer accounts, respond to enquiries and provide our products and services. THE FLORAL SOCIETY also uses Google Analytics which is a web analysis service provided by Google. Google utilises the data collected to track and examine the use of www.THEFLORALSOCIETY.com.au, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with THE FLORAL SOCIETY and other Google services.

SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Floral Society may engage third-party service providers to assist us to operate our online business, including website hosting, payment processing, delivery services, analytics, customer communications and email and SMS marketing platforms. Those providers may access Personal Information to the extent reasonably necessary to provide their services to us.

For example, Klaviyo may be used to manage our marketing database and email and/or SMS marketing communications.

HOW DO WE SECURE AND PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

All sensitive/payment information you provide or view online with THE FLORAL SOCIETY is transmitted between your device and the THE FLORAL SOCIETY website using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which ensures this information is encrypted (unreadable without a key) between your device and our firewall protected network.

Credit card information may also be held by our payment gateway with the data only accessible by those authorised with special access rights to such systems, and whom are required to keep the information confidential.

We use a third-party payment processor to process payments made to us. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not collect, process, use, share, store or disclose any Personal Information or payment information (such as credit card and bank account details). Rather, all such information is provided directly to our third party processor, Stripe, or by PayPal or After Pay, whose use of your Personal Information is governed by their privacy policy.

ANONYMITY

We understand that sometimes part of the joy of sending flowers can be in giving them from ‘your secret admirer’. During our online checkout process, you will be given the option to remain anonymous to the recipient of the flowers. If you select this box, we will not disclose your name to the recipient. If you do not select this box, you authorise us to disclose your full name to the recipient.

Otherwise, we will only discuss your order details with the person who placed the order, their representative or with the nominated recipient of the gift.

HOW CAN I UPDATE/CORRECT MY DETAILS?

If you believe Personal Information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, or you would like to request access to your Personal Information, please contact us.
